Meet Our Color Guard Staff
EMILY GOTTLIEBColor Guard Instructor & ChoreographerEmily Gottlieb has been on the Dakota High School Color Guard staff since 2022 as an instructor and choreographer.
Emily is a Dakota High School alumni who started as a member in the program in 2018. Since then, Emily has marched with the CMU Chippewa Marching Band (‘21, ‘22, ‘23), where she is currently serving as a section leader, and Metamorphosis Winter Guard (‘22, ‘23). Emily currently attends Central Michigan University and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. |
JAKOBE NEALColor Guard InstructorJakobe Neal is a Color Guard Instructor for Dakota High School's Color Guard, this is Jakobe's second season with Dakota High School Marching Band.
Jakobe has participated in the marching arts for 7 years, beginning Color Guard as performer a Fraser High School (2017-2019), and graduating from Fraser in 2020. Since then Jakobe has continued performing in the Central Michigan Color and Winter Guard Programs (2020-2023), while currently studying Secondary Education in History and Leadership at Central Michigan University Jakobe began coaching in 2019, and since then has continued to tech, coach, and write choreography for middle and high schools across Mid and Southeastern Michigan. |
