The Marching Band at Dakota High School is one of the largest student organizations on campus with over 100 students involved. The Marching Band consists of students from all concert bands, as well as the Color Guard Program.
Once school starts, the Marching Band rehearses two-three times per week and performs at pregame and halftime of all football games. The Marching Band competes in 6-8 competitions on Saturdays during the Fall in the Michigan Competing Band Association (MCBA) and performs in the America's Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit.
