The Dakota High School Band Program is supported by MANY dedicated parent and family volunteers who generously give their time to help with the MANY band activities and events throughout the year.  We greatly appreciate the time and support they provide to help make our events run smoothly!

There are MANY ways for families to help, and we encourage volunteering for one or more events.  Our Band Volunteers assist with the planning, coordination, and support of all band events and activities throughout the year.  Their efforts provide valuable support to Mr. Makarewicz and the Band Department staff and help create a positive, rewarding experience for our students.  Volunteering is a wonderful way to support our band program, learn more about our Bands, see our students perform up close, and connect with other band parents.

All volunteers must have a current Chippewa Valley Schools Volunteer CRC Form on file with the school.  ​This form will need to be completed every school year.
