The Dakota Bands Program is an award-winning organization comprised of Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Color Guard, Winter Drum Line and Winter Guard.  We have over 150 high school students that participate in the Dakota Bands Program.
 
Our bands consistently earn Division I and Superior ratings at festivals and competitions. In 2019 our Marching Band competed in MCBA (Michigan Competing Bands Association) for the first time and made it to the State Finals at Ford Field! Our Marching Band travels throughout Michigan to competitions and draws a large number of fans to Dakota football games for its halftime show.  Our annual Collage Concerts which include performances from all of our outstanding bands, draws a large audience and sells out almost every year!
